For your day of fishing we will meet you at the waters edge or at a location of your discretion. After meeting we will stop at the appropriate locations for bait (when applicable) lunch goods, snacks, drinks and other items of interest. Once on the water our goal is to provide you with a professional "One on One" fishing experience second to none. At Pure Enjoyment Fishing Charters we pride ourselves in taking the "fast pace" commercialized atmosphere out of fishing. Because of remote boat ramp sites and shallow waters associated with fishing some of Central Florida's hidden lakes and rivers, Captain John chooses to use a 2006 18 ft Fly Craft flats boat powered by a 2006 150 hp Mercury outboard. Captain John has equipped the boat with many extras for your fishing comfort.

Bass Fishing: Pure Enjoyment Fishing Charters offers two types of bass fishing artificial and live bait. Our goal is for you to enjoy a day of bass fishing with the best opportunity to catch fish. In any case Live wild shiners in the 5" to 10" length are the best choice for catching that trophy bass of a lifetime. If you choose to fish with artificial bait and also want to bring along a few live wild shiners we will accommodate. Once you catch that trophy bass, we encourage a "catch and release" policy, taking measurements and a picture for the scrapbook.

Bream Fishing: Pure Enjoyment Fishing Charters offers some of the finest bream fishing in the Central Florida area. We provide you with the opportunity to catch bream with light tackle using either artificial or live bait. If you are an accomplished fly fisherman and want to give your skills a try, bring your favorite fly rod and flies. We do not provide any fly fishing equipment, however we do not mind if you want to bring your own gear and give it a try. We will always keep light tackle in the boat for a second choice.

Bowfishing: Pure Enjoyment Fishing Charters offers a unique twist to fishing called "bowfishing". Bowfishing is the art of fishing using a bow and arrow. We always fish for non-game fish such as gar, bowfin (mudfish), grass carp, tilapia (Nile perch) and even an occasional catfish. Most of the area lakes and rivers have an abundance of gar therefore the majority of our trips consist of bowfishing for gar. We do provide bows and equipment to meet most individual needs. Day and night trips are available depending on conditions.

Just a reminder, Pure Enjoyment Fishing Charters uses current weather and fishing conditions in order to determine the best location to fish and the best bait to use. We reserve the right to reschedule any fishing trip based on unstable weather conditions.
